Cadet Lake is a relatively wet place mostly with a great deal of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Get soaked paddling on Sauk River - North Fork, and hey, Gotta ski right? Stephens Pass is a good location to do that. What would winter be without some skiing at Alpental, and whitewater paddling is fine on Sloan Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking

trail next to Cadet Lake called the Lost Creek Ridge Trail; at Cadet Lake you can catch a glimpse of Sloan Peak. So many cool things in the vicinity of Cadet Lake, completely tremendous. Going for a hike on the Camp Creek Ridge Trail is always a great adventure, and if you get bored of Cadet Lake you could also explore nearby Cougar Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Summer at Cadet Lake comes with high temperatures

in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Cadet Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Monte Cristo Campground is a good local campground, and Goat Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range rocks! There are glorious sites to explore along the Meadow Mountain Trail, and why not camp at Sloan Creek Campground if you're here at Cadet Lake.

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...

From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Consider it a buffet for the outdoor enthusiast!
For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do!
So if you're looking for a true escape this winter, look no further than The Summit.
Just around the corner...
