If you are in Kittitas county it's always a good idea to stop by Cabin Lake. Horseshoe Canyon is a good site to stop by close to Cabin Lake, and Wind Blew Inn Motel is a magnificent spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Yakima River is so much fun, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Ellensburg. That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Cabin Lake has it all. | | Cabin Lake; Miller Peak Trail is a glorious local trail; if you're here, you could also have a look at beautiful Big Lake. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cabin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dickey Creek Campground, and the County Line Trail offers hiking at its best. fancy it here in the Northern Cascade Range. The top of Lookout Mountain is easily seen from Cabin Lake. There's so much to do here at Cabin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mineral Springs Resort is a delightful place
for that. It is very dried out here at Cabin Lake mostly; December is when you get the most snow here while July is usually the driest month. Summertime at Cabin Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is
down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Cabin Lake. Why not stop by nearby Musser Creek if you're here at Cabin Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fishhook Flats Trail.
