In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Byrne is one of them. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Lake Byrne. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Byrne plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Much rain falls at Lake Byrne; November is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Stephens Pass if you're here, and Sloan Creek Campground is a delightful campground nearby. not ever want to return back home again. There's magnificent hiking along the Glacier Ridge Trail; Owl Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground.
Good hiking is available along the Kennedy Ridge Trail, and paddling on
Sloan Creek is so much fun. Get wet paddling on Downey Creek, and if you need a site to stay Suncadia Resort is a brilliant choice. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Black Mountain is scenic and can be spotted from Lake Byrne.
