A nice nearby hotel is Lakeside Motel, and if you came to camp Deer Lake Resort is a perfect location to do that. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Buzzard Lake reach the 80's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Buzzard Lake. At Buzzard       Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the snow falls through December, and the driest month is July. Loon Lake Motel is a good place to get some rest. There are other sites here than Buzzard Lake, for example Benson Lake, and Buzzard Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Loon Lake Acres is a great local campground.
