This lake is so wonderful. Butterworth Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Butterworth Reservoir is a tremendous place to camp, Martin way Mobile Home Park is a tremendous place, and if you're here why not pop by Wycoff Shoal. If you come at the right       time of year, Nisqually River offers some magnificent whitewater; delightful water scenery is available at Butterworth Dam close to Butterworth Reservoir. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Floyd Cove is in the vicinity and always tremendous to check out, and if you need a spot to stay August Inn is a perfect choice. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Butterworth Reservoir while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the                  40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Butterworth Reservoir temperatures sink to the 30's. Guesthouse Intl Dupont is a perfect location to get some rest, and Butterworth Reservoir is not far at all from Olympia. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Eden Creek Reservoir is close at hand; swing by Bradley Creek it's a great location to go to.
