     The beauty of Butte Creek Reservoir attracts many people from all around. Butte Creek Reservoir regularly gets a lot of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July. Looking for something close to Butte Creek Reservoir? Case Pond is in the vicinity; Butte Creek Reservoir is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Raymond RV Park is a splendid place to camp nearby. The Olympic Mountains scenery  
   is always beautiful.
But wait, there's more to do close to Butte Creek Reservoir. A quick journey to Elk Creek near Butte Creek Reservoir is a nice idea; if you need a location to stay Olympic Inn Motel is a fine choice. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Butte Creek Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Butte Creek Reservoir; Timberland Village is a tremendous local campground.                is a great site to spend a night or two, and Butte Creek Reservoir is not the only place close by, Raymond Heights Reservoir is a close by lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Naselle River - North Fork, and there are plenty of people from Aberdeen here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. If you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Willapa Harboir Golf Course. For the duration of the long summer days at Butte Creek Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 60's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Butte Creek Reservoir temperatures drop to the 30's.

In addition to campers, Timberland RV is home to ducks, crows, pigeons, woodpeckers, blue jays, robins and sometimes a goose or even a swan and numerous other birds, including the heron (crane).
