At Buhrig Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while September is typically the driest month. For the period of the summertime months at Buhrig Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime       highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Buhrig Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Buhrig Lake. The summit of Hungry Hill can be observed from Buhrig Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Buhrig Lake is Pierre Lake Campground, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sherman Creek. A splendid nearby                  hotel is Comfort Inn Colville, and Kettle River is a fine whitewater spot nearby.
