     The beauty of Buckskin Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Dry warm beds await you at Freestone Inn And Cabins, and close by you come across the West Fork Methow Trail which is a good hiking trail.
Buckskin Lake is a quite wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rain; during November this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July. Don't forget to take
 
   a great little journey to Berk Creek; Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Buckskin Lake. There's so much to do here at Buckskin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meadows Campground is a great place for that, and the top of Buckskin Point is easily seen from Buckskin Lake.
If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Cascade Range.
 
               Mazama Ranch House is a tremendous spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Buckskin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Holman Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Monument Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Lost River. Summer at Buckskin Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Buckskin Lake.
This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. There are good locations to look at along the Boundary Trail, and Pleasant Valley is another tremendous location to check out close by.
