At Buckskin Lake all through the summer highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Buckskin Lake are in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Silver Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Lost River.

Buckskin Lake in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. At Buckskin Lake you can see Buckskin Point. Lakes? Sure, Ferguson Lake is around here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Buckskin Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Berk Creek is a stream you can visit while you're
here, and the Boundary Trail is a nice hiking trail close by.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Meadows Campground is a nice place to camp. Why not camp at Holman Campground while you're here at Buckskin Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the West Fork Methow Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. If the weather is great here at Buckskin Lake, you can go for a hike along the Monument Creek Trail; there's whitewater on Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary for all you thrill seekers.
So many entertaining things in the Northern Cascade Range, just inspiring. Pleasant Valley is a great place to look at; Sun Mountain Lodge is a tremendous place to get some rest.
