If you are in Jefferson county it's always a good idea to stop by Buckmans Lake. For the period of the summertime months at Buckmans Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's; the overnight is quite colder of course, typically in the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 40's while Buckmans Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Big Quilcene River; Glen Cove is around

| | here and always good to pop by. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you come at the right time of year, Big Quilcene River offers some great whitewater, and Port Townsend Golf Club is a golf course nearby.
Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a great time. Discovery Bay Camp-peniel's is a glorious campground here, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Bear Mountain Trail. | |

Buckmans Lake is a location that is quite dry usually; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. People from Oak Harbor love to come to Buckmans Lake.
After
a long day outdoors Aladdin Inn Port Townsend is a great spot to spend a night or two, and Buckmans Lake is not the only spot close by, Strangers Lake is a close by lake. But wait, there's more to do near Buckmans Lake. If you need
a location to stay Palace Hotel is a wonderful choice; do take a hike on the Mount Zion Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Deadfall Trail, and camping at Buckmans Lake is fine fun, Sea Breeze Grocery is a fine local campground.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.
