This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Inn at Port Hadlock. Glen Cove is not far from Buckmans Lake at all, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Zion Trail. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Olympic Mountains. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Deadfall Trail, and golf can be played at Port Townsend Golf Club. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always       beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Buckmans Lake you can take a hike along the Bear Mountain Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Morgan Hill Reservoir. It is very dried out here at Buckmans Lake generally; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. This site, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Aladdin Motor Inns                  is a magnificent spot to get some rest; there's whitewater on Big Quilcene River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Any time is a perfect time at Buckmans Lake if you go for the outdoors. Sea Breeze Grocery is a brilliant local campground, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Big Quilcene River. Discovery Bay Camp-peniel's is a splendid campground nearby, and you're sure to stumble upon some good people from Oak Harbor here. Summertime at Buckmans Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
