    Buckhorn Lake is a lake worth visiting. This place, Buckhorn Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Why not camp at Gorge Campground if you're here at Buckhorn Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Tubal Cain Mine Trail. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Dosewallips River in a kayak, and camping is available at River Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains.

   Buckhorn Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. A fine nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. Near Buckhorn Lake you locate good sites like Buckhorn Pass, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Buckhorn Lake; Baldy Trail is a great local trail.
For the period of the long summer days at Buckhorn Lake highs are typically
 
               in the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Buckhorn Lake during the winter mostly descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Royal Creek Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dungeness River. The top of Buckhorn Mountain is easily spotted from Buckhorn Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Juan De Fuca Cottages is a nice choice.
