Sure, Charlia Lakes is in the neighborhood of Buckhorn Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet,       you can always go whitewater paddling on Dosewallips River. The warmest time of the year at Buckhorn Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Buckhorn Lake. Hiking along the Royal Creek Trail is perfect fun, and a fine location to stop by nearby is Buckhorn Pass. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always                  beautiful. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do in close proximity to Buckhorn Lake. Buckhorn Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Gorge Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and do take a hike on the Tubal Cain Mine Trail. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Juan De Fuca Cottages, and River Campground is a nice local campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Buckhorn Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
