Buck Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Dog Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and get drenched paddling on Bumping River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Buck Lake while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Buck Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things

| | in the Northern Cascade Range. Skiing at White Pass is one of those things you just have to do, and tremendous hiking is available along the Nile Ridge Trail.
Why not camp at Lindsay Campground if you're here at Buck Lake; float down the rapids of American River in a kayak. Be careful coming to Buck Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Soda Springs Campground is a glorious spot to camp. Buck Lake generally gets a lot of rain; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is mostly the driest month.
So much enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range,
just impressive. This lake is so wonderful. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Crystal Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.
