     The beauty of Buck Lake attracts many people from all around. Buck Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Stay the night at Staircase Campground, and Best Western Olympic Lodge is a good spot to get some rest. Buck Lake gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month is July.
Don't leave Buck Lake without first going for a hike along the Royal Creek Trail, and Anderson Creek is one of the streams nearby that might
 
   be worth a visit. So many fun things in the Olympic Mountains, just astonishing. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Buck Lake has to offer, you can camp at Brown Creek Campground, and lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Hart Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Olympic Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Baldy Trail, and you could always look at Anderson Pass.
That right there is a heap already, but it goes
 
               on; Buck Lake has it all. There are great sites to look at along the Elwha River Trail, and Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Skokomish River - North Fork; one of the main features of the surroundings of Buck Lake is Mount Duckabush. This lake is so wonderful.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Buck Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are regularly in the 40's while Buck Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
