Buck Lake is in the neighborhood of Anderson Pass which is definitely worth a visit, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Royal Creek Trail. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Olympic Mountains. There are some fine       whitewater spots on Skokomish River - North Fork, and you can see Mount Duckabush from Buck Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a trip to Olympic National Park since you're here at Buck Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Baldy Trail, and a lake nearby is Hart Lake. Lake LaCrosse is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Staircase Campground is a magnificent local campground. High temperatures at Buck Lake through the warm                  months are in the 70's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Buck Lake are in the 30's. Brown Creek Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and don't forget to take a brilliant little journey to Anderson Creek. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Olympic Mountains. The snow is delightful at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Buck Lake; Elwha River Trail is a pleasant local trail.
