Lake Bryant is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Riffe Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and Swofford Pond is a great lake close by. Lake Bryant frequently gets a lot of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. | | things just keep reading. There's great hiking along the Toutle River Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Tilton River offers some glorious whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lake Bryant there are plenty of folks from Centralia, and great hiking is available along the Coldwater Trail. in the 40's; overnight lows at Lake Bryant through the wintertime usually drop into the 30's. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Float down the rapids of Green River in
a kayak; don't leave Lake Bryant without first going for a hike along the Fawn Lake Trail. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. A gorgeous lake like Riffe Lake next to Lake Bryant is a magnificent spot to take a look at, and camping at Mossyrock Park is always a great experience.

 | 19 miles away 2/3 of the lake is gone. Kalama River now flows right thru the middle of what used to be the lake. It is amazing to see. The 8100 road is washed out at mile 11 so plan on a 2 mile walk....McBride Lake is no longer in existance. Though I will have this confirmed on July 23, 2008. It is my understanding that during the 2007/2008 winter, a massive land slide occurred which filled the lake.
