Near Browns Lake you hit upon McKale Canyon which is a perfect place to take a look at; if you've had enough of Browns Lake, Doe Lake is nearby. Looking for a great trip? Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is reasonably next to Browns Lake, and why not head up to 49 Degrees North and strap some skis to your feet.       During the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Browns Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Browns Lake. Around Browns Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Camping is available at Chewelah Golf and Country                  Club RV Park, and why not go to Browns Lake Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
