Brown Lake is always a pleasure to visit. What a location this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Brown Lake you can play some golf at Okanogan Valley Golf Club; why not take a refreshing hike along the Sarsapkin Creek Trail. Loup Loup Ski Bowl is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and the summit of Pogue Mountain can be spotted from Brown Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Brown Lake; Funk Mountain Trail is a delightful local trail.

| | There's so much to do here at Brown Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ponderosa Motor Lodge is a nice site for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Little Green Lake Dam is a beautiful location in the neighborhood of Brown Lake, and Brown Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Leader Lake Campground is a good local campground. Best Western Peppertree Omak Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and the Ray Trail offers hiking at its best. All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Rodeway Inn & Suites is
a great site to get some rest.
For the duration of the summer months highs here at Brown Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter
at Brown Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. Brown Lake is pretty dried out usually; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
