The high level of rain makes Briscoe Lake a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Rodeway Inn & Suites, and if you have time, Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a national park worth stopping at. While you're here at Briscoe Lake you can play       some golf at Peninsula Golf Course; Long Beach Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. Lakes? Sure, Breaker Lake is close at hand, and if you came to camp Oceanic RV Park is a tremendous location to do that. While you're here at Briscoe Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Astoria, and camping at Sunrise Pacific Holiday is always a good experience. Briscoe                  Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. And that's not all you can do here at Briscoe Lake. There are other sites here than Briscoe Lake, for example Deer Lake. At Briscoe Lake through the summertime highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's.
