You'll meet a lot of people from Bremerton-Silverdale here, and a pleasant close by hotel is Thornewood Castle Inn And Gardens. Boyles Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year is July. Take some time to have a look at Curry Woods while you're here, and on a wonderful day you obtain a pleasant view of Kay Hill from       Boyles Lake. Drift down the rapids of Nisqually River in a kayak; enjoy a round of golf at FT Steilacoom Golf Course. If you get bored of Boyles Lake, you could also have a look at close by Steilacoom Lake, and camping at Rainier Villa Mobile Park and RV is always a delightful experience.
