     Boyd Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Boyd Lake has to offer, you can camp at Turlo Campground, and Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a magnificent site to get some rest. Granite Falls Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Iron Mountain can be distinguished from Boyd Lake. Much rainfall  
   falls at Boyd Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
Good hiking is available along the Finney Peak Trail, and a wonderful close by hotel is Monroe Motel. All through the warm days of summer at Boyd Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Boyd Lake
 
               temperatures fall to the 30's. Boyd Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Having a great time in the Northern Cascade Range is easy. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Boyd Lake. Don't leave Boyd Lake without first going for a hike along the Gee Point Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Stillaguamish River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lake Connor Park; if you come at the right time of year, Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary offers some delightful whitewater.
