You can run the rapids of Stillaguamish River - South Fork close to Bowers Lake, and Bowers Lake is not the only site close by, Chitwood Lake is a close by lake. Throughout the long summer days here at Bowers Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the       winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bowers Lake are in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Bowers Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Turlo Campground is a good site for that, and Best Western Sky Valley Inn is a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect places                  to discover along the Gee Point Trail, and Bowers Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Verlot Campground is a splendid local campground. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more entertaining things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Don't leave Bowers Lake without first going for a hike along the Finney Peak Trail, and a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Pilchuck River.
