This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. A pleasant location to camp here at Boulder Lake is Soleduck Campground; if you're here, you could also stop at delightful Blue Lake. All through the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Boulder Lake. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Boulder       Lake are in the 30's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Olympic Mountains has to offer. There's pleasant hiking along the Boulder Lake Trail, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Three Horse Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Boulder Lake; Happy Lake Ridge Trail is a magnificent local trail, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Elwha River. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available                  along the Soleduck Trail, and camping at Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is always a magnificent experience. The slopes of Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge are so inviting noone can resist. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Boulder Lake has to offer. Mount Appleton is trouble-free to spot from Boulder Lake; people from Port Angeles love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a good choice; if you come at the right time of year, Lyre River offers some wonderful whitewater. Boulder Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Olympic Mountains is great!
