What a nice lake Boulder Lake is. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. A pleasant location to camp here at Boulder Lake is Soleduck Campground; if you're here, you could also stop at delightful Blue Lake. All through the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Boulder Lake. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Boulder

There's pleasant hiking along the Boulder Lake Trail, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Three Horse Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Boulder Lake; Happy Lake Ridge Trail is a magnificent local trail, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Elwha River. This lake is so wonderful. Resort is a good choice; if you come at the right time of year, Lyre River offers some wonderful whitewater. Boulder Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July is
the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Olympic Mountains is great! The panoramas at Olympic National Park will blow your mind, and a great nearby hotel is Quality Inn Uptown.

My daughter and grandchildren have been here and they love it also. It is a great rustic family place. We relax listening to the ebbing tides at night, collect rocks and shells, roast marshmallows for smores and just have fun. Last time we fount a great fishing hole and handicap assessable and it had fire rings bathrooms tables camping sites right down the road. From WCB.
