The Northern Cascade Range is unbeatable! If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skookum Creek; if you're visiting from Mount Vernon-Anacortes, you won't be the only one. You       just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. The peak of Dukes Hill can be distinguished from Bottomless Lake. You simply must go for Bottomless Lake. Riverview Park is a glorious campground here, and dry warm beds await you at Three Rivers Inn & Restaurant. Bottomless Lake gets a good deal of water; through November this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Nooksack                  River - South Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; great skiing awaits you at Mt.Baker. Bottomless Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Bottomless Lake through the summertime are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Bottomless Lake dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
