Get dripping wet paddling on Nooksack River - South Fork, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Burlington is a good place to spend a night or two. What a place this is for outdoors people. A spree to Lake                  Chelan National Recreation Area is worthwhile; whitewater paddling is great on Skookum Creek. Bottomless Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Stay the night at Burlington Koa Kampground, and Mt.Baker is a magnificent local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Bottomless Lake is a pretty wet place usually with a good deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Bottomless Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
