You'll stumble on a wonderful lake called Chapman Lake near Bonnie Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Bonnie Lake; December is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A great place for whitewater paddling near Bonnie Lake is Hangman Creek, and Bonnie Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Williams Lake Resort is a glorious location       to camp nearby. Through the long summer days here at Bonnie Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bonnie Lake are in the 20's. A great close by hotel is Willow Springs Motel near EWU, and you can stay the night at Peaceful Pines Camp Ground. This lake is so wonderful.
