Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows through the winter for Boardman Lake tend to be in the 30's. A fine nearby hotel is Best Western Sky Valley Inn. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything       Boardman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Red Bridge Campground, and there are other places here than Boardman Lake, for example Lake Evan. Hiking along the Finney Peak Trail is delightful fun, and Boardman Lake is a fine site to visit for more than one day, River Bar Campground is a fine site to camp nearby. Much precipitation falls at Boardman Lake; November is the month that gets the most rain while July is commonly the driest month. Be careful coming                  to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again.
