Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Squaw Lake; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Columbia River Inn. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Little Brush Lake Dam close to Blue Lakes, and needless to say Eagle Creek flows through this vicinity. Going for a hike along the Eagle Creek Trail will let you       absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; Blue Lakes is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Dolce Skamania Lodge is a splendid local campground. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Marine Park and Campground is always a tremendous experience, and a short trip to The (historical) Cascades is always worthwhile. Summertime highs at Blue Lakes regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down                  to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Blue Lakes tend to be in the 30's. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Tanner Butte Trail; Sheridan Point is around here and always tremendous to pop by. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Blue Lakes. Playing golf is lots of fun at Beacon Rock Golf Course, and get drenched paddling on Rock Creek - Columbia River Tributary. Blue Lakes gets a great deal of water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Just can't get enough of Blue Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Tanner Cutoff Trail, and paddling on Trout Creek is so much fun. After a long day outdoors Skamania Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Lakes?
