Why not stop by Blue Lakes if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Sheridan Point is nearby and always splendid to pop by, and obviously Eagle Creek is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Blue Lakes a wet place; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. | | a great location to camp, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Trout Creek. If you love the outdoors, you'll love Blue Lakes. If you need a location to stay Skamania Lodge is a great choice, also Little Brush Lake Dam is worth checking out since you're here. a delightful lake called Lake Bonneville. You completely have to have a thing about the Northern Cascade Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tanner Cutoff Trail; dry warm beds await you at Dolce Skamania Lodge. Take
a hike on the Eagle Creek Trail It's always wonderful to check out The (historical) Cascades. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Blue Lakes. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter this place
gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Blue Lakes dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Blue Lakes is right by the Tanner Butte Trail, and why not camp at Marine Park and Campground while you're here at Blue Lakes.
A splendid spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Blue Lakes is Rock Creek - Columbia River Tributary. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
