Wanderer: We camped at blue lake july 23&24 2009.The trail is in good shape,short and easy.The lake is crystal clear and the scenery is spectacular with tall granite cliffs and multiple small 200+ ft waterfalls.Would be a great day hike for children.Bring bug spray,the mosquitos are voracious

What a nice lake Blue Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Dock Butte is a peak you can observe from Blue Lake; do have a look at Tuckway Lake, it's a delightful lake. What a place this is for outdoors folks. A nice location to camp here at Blue Lake is Lands West; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jackman River. Throughout the long summer days here at Blue Lake, high temperatures usually get

| | into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Blue Lake are in the 30's. Take a little tour to Loomis Creek since you're here at Blue Lake; Finney Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. While you're here at Blue Lake, you could also pop by lovely Skagit Lake, and after a long day outdoors Snowwater Condos is a great location to spend a night | |

or two. Blue Lake gets much water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. That right there is lots of exciting stuff
already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Why not camp at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA if you're here at Blue Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Finney Peak Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day
to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Northern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Gee Point Trail is always a great adventure.

The camp hosts as well as the staff there have made each and every camping trip a great adventure.
