Wanderer: We camped at blue lake july 23&24 2009.The trail is in good shape,short and easy.The lake is crystal clear and the scenery is spectacular with tall granite cliffs and multiple small 200+ ft waterfalls.Would be a great day hike for children.Bring bug spray,the mosquitos are voracious

Blue Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. From Blue Lake you acquire a magnificent panorama of Dock Butte; Blue Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Lands West is a good place to camp nearby. Yeah, come here to Blue Lake for a great time. Jackman River is a glorious whitewater spot next to Blue Lake, and you can stay the night at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA. So much amusing stuff to do

All year is a wonderful time in the Northern Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Gee Point Trail. You could also stop by Tuckway Lake while you're here at Blue Lake; it's nearby, and a quick tour to Loomis Creek is unquestionably a pleasant | |

idea. Blue Lake mostly gets much rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. During the warm days of summer at Blue Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Summer
nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Blue Lake. You can run the rapids of Finney Creek in the neighborhood of Blue Lake; Glacier Springs Vacation Prop. is a great spot to get some rest.
