    If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Blue Lake. You can catch a sight of Craggy Peak from Blue Lake, and Blue Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Pole Patch Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is lots of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all.
Be careful coming to the
 
   Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. You can run the rapids of Quartz Creek close to Blue Lake; if you came to camp Lower Falls Campground is a great location to do that. What a place this is for outdoors people. If you need a spot to stay Columbia Gorge Riverside Lodge is a great choice, and the Wildcat Trail offers hiking at its best. Take a hike on the Ridge Trail; a good place for whitewater paddling is McCoy Creek.
Blue Lake
 
               frequently gets a good deal of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Lake is right by the Muddy River Trail; a splendid nearby hotel is Randle Motel. Summertime highs at Blue Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Blue Lake.
