Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Sahalee Tyee is near Blue Lake, and Cultus Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. High temperatures at Blue Lake during the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's,       and night lows during the winter for Blue Lake tend to be in the 30's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area next to Blue Lake has to offer. This is a splendid vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lake Sebago is a lake nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Lake; East Crater Trail is a tremendous local trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await you at Skamania                  Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. You get a wonderful sight of Berry Mountain from Blue Lake, and Blue Lake is right by the Falls Creek Trail. A large amount of rain falls at Blue Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Forlorn Lakes Campground while you're here at Blue Lake; spots like Indian Heaven are great to visit.
