    Do stop by Blue Lake while you're in this part of Washington. Blue Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. From Blue Lake you get a great sight of Boundary Peak; lakes are such serene sites, why not visit Bench Lake. Blue Lake gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most; July meanwhile is the driest month.
On a nice day at Blue Lake you can take a hike along the Tatoosh Trail, and
 
   glide down the rapids of Butter Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cowlitz River - Muddy Fork, and Maple Falls is an inspiring place to have a look at while you're here. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Maple Creek flows through this vicinity; a day on the slopes of White Pass is just what you need.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Blue Lake has to offer.
 
               There is a wonderful hiking trail near Blue Lake called the Moraine Trail, and why not camp at Packwood RV Park and Campground since you're here at Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Skyline Trail is a good hiking trail next to Blue Lake. And if that's not enough there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. The snow is great at Crystal Mountain, and if you came for an overnight stay River Bar Campground is a tremendous place to camp.
All through the summertime months here at Blue Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Blue Lake.
