This lake is so wonderful. Not much rainfall falls here at Blue Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. At Blue Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the wintertime       this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Blue Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. Bluewood is a good local ski area, and if you get bored of Blue Lake you could also pop by nearby Spring Lake. A lake close by is Rainbow Lake, and don't leave Blue Lake without first going for a hike along the Panjab Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Cummings Creek from Blue Lake is uncomplicated, and going for a hike on                  the Salter Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Why not camp at Tucannon Campground if you're here at Blue Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail. Having a great time at Blue Lake is trouble-free.
