You can see Goat Mountain from Blue Lake; going for a hike on the Panjab Trail is always a tremendous adventure. At Blue Lake Dam near Blue Lake there are some interesting things to see, and the Salter Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel is Best Western Wheatland Inn, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Rattlesnake Trail. Man, is there a lot       of amusing stuff to do in the neighborhood of Blue Lake. Camping is available at Tucannon Campground; the skiing at Bluewood is perfect. Through the summer months highs here at Blue Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Blue Lake plunge into the 20's. Cummings Creek flows through this area, and why not camp at                  The Last Resort RV Campground and Store while you're here at Blue Lake.
