In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Blackwood Lake is one of them. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Soleduck River, and Blackwood Lake is not the only place nearby, Mink Lake is a nearby lake. Throughout the long summer days at Blackwood Lake highs are regularly in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter

| | highs are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Blackwood Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Blackwood Lake without first going for a hike along the Canyon Creek Hoh Trail, and you can stay the night at Soleduck Campground.

a good location to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Lake Quinault Lodge. There's so much to do here at Blackwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hoh Campground is a great spot for that.

Lake, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Bogachiel Park is right here at Blackwood Lake, and the smiling people of Port Angeles like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Bogachiel Lake
if you're here at Blackwood Lake; it's nearby, and there are nice sites to look at along the Mink Lake Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Soleduck River - North Fork, and you can
go for a hike on the Lovers Lane.
Lots of precipitation falls at Blackwood Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains.
