The high level of precipitation makes Blacksmith Lake a rather wet location; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. For the duration of the summer at Blacksmith Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's       while Blacksmith Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Alderbrook Resort And Spa is a good choice, and camping at Snooze Junction RV Park is always a good experience. Do go to Camp Pond right next door to Blacksmith Lake, it's a beautiful lake; a wonderful close by hotel is Bremerton Super 8 Motel. Just can't get enough of Blacksmith Lake. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous                  whitewater of Dosewallips River, and brilliant hiking is available along the Deadfall Trail. There's whitewater on Duckabush River for all you adrenaline kick people, and lots of folks from Shelton come here. This site, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Olympic Mountains.
