The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Blacksmith Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Blacksmith Lake get into the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. High temperatures       during the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Blacksmith Lake drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Erickson Lake next to Blacksmith Lake, it's a striking lake, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Shelton here. The Deadfall Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of Blacksmith Lake; a good nearby hotel is Alderbrook Resort And Spa. Whohoo, so much exciting                  stuff in one place! The Olympic Mountains is excellent! If the weather is magnificent here at Blacksmith Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail.
