The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. Paddling on Skokomish River - North Fork is so much fun, and Black and White Lakes is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Staircase Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Elwha River Trail is a good       hiking trail in the vicinity of Black and White Lakes, and there are other sites here than Black and White Lakes, for example Flapjack Lakes. Going for a hike on the Baldy Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and Eight Stream is near Black and White Lakes and is always a pleasure to stop at. A wonderful site to camp here at Black and White Lakes is Brown Creek Campground, and this is a popular place for people from Shelton. Black and White Lakes commonly                  gets a good deal of rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Olympic Mountains. Yeah, come here to Black and White Lakes for a wonderful time. On a lovely day you get a sight of Mount Cruiser from Black and White Lakes, and close by you locate the Royal Creek Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. At Black and White Lakes during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's.
