It is very dried out here at Black Pine Lake typically; most of the snow falls throughout December; the driest month is July. Any time is a perfect time at Black Pine Lake if you love the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Sun Mountain Lodge. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Black Pine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Blackpine Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful.       If you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a pleasant choice; paddling on Methow River is so much fun. Summer at Black Pine Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Black Pine Lake plunge into the 10's. The Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail offers hiking at its best, and let's not forget Black                  Pine Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Black Pine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crater Creek Campground is a pleasant place for that.
