Black Pine Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Black Pine Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Do set aside some time for Shady Nook Basin while you're here at Black Pine Lake, and delightful hiking is available along the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail. A fine place to camp here at Black Pine Lake is Crater Creek Campground, and it's a good idea to check out Black Pine Creek. So much cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just unbelievable.

| | A picturesque lake like Libby Lake in close proximity to Black Pine Lake is a pleasant location to go to. All through the warm months highs here at Black Pine Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Black Pine Lake during the wintertime generally drop into the 10's. July is typically the driest month. Black Pine Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. On a pretty day you obtain a sight of Block Mountain from Black Pine Lake, and paddling on Twisp River is
so much fun. Black Pine Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Blackpine Lake Campground is a delightful local campground, and Echo Valley has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. Life's too short to enjoy all the
cool things in the Northern Cascade Range. Do go to Crater Lake near Black Pine Lake, it's a picturesque lake; get soaked paddling on Methow River.
