For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Black Lake sink into the 30's. You'll find a pretty lake called Simmons Lake near Black Lake, and float down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the       Olympic Mountains. While you're here at Black Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Olympia, and if you came for an overnight stay Columbus Park is a brilliant place to camp. Black Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The picturesque Black Hills is here at Black Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Conference Center.                  So many enjoyable things to do here at Black Lake, too delightful to be true. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Delphi Golf Course, and do pop by Trosper Lake, it's a delightful lake. After a long day outdoors Guesthouse Intl Tumwater is a good site to spend a night or two, and swing by Dempsey Creek it's a pleasant place to stop at. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains.
