Beautiful Black Lake has much to offer visitors. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Olympic Mountains. Visit Wallacut River while you're here at Black Lake, and a journey to nearby Cape Disappointment is very relaxing. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Fords Dry Lake is near Black Lake; if time allows, Fort Clatsop National Memorial

| | is a national park worth visiting. What a place this is for outdoors folks. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn & Suites is a magnificent choice, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Astoria for sure.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Black Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Aloha Court and Trailer Park is a tremendous place for that; a wonderful close by hotel is Long Beach Super 8 Motel. Don't leave | |

Black Lake without first going for a hike along the Cannon Beach Trail, and there are swamps here too, Cranberry Marsh is in the vicinity.
The high level of precipitation makes Black Lake a reasonably wet location; during the
month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Peninsula Golf Course is always a bliss; Black Lake is great enough to spend more than a day
at, Beacon Charters and RV Park is a great local campground. At Black Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs
are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Black Lake.
This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains.
