All year is a great time in the Olympic Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Hiking along the Little River Trail is wonderful fun; camping at Black Diamond Reservoir is nice fun, Welcome Inn Trailer Court/rv is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Lake Creek Trail; if you need a place to stay Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles is a wonderful choice.       Throughout the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Black Diamond Reservoir, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while Black Diamond Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Black Diamond Reservoir. A tremendous site for whitewater paddling close to Black Diamond Reservoir                  is Elwha River, and getting to Tumwater Creek from Black Diamond Reservoir is uncomplicated. Olympic National Park is a splendid local destination here at Black Diamond Reservoir, and delightful skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge. Black Diamond Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. Black Diamond Reservoir gets a large amount of water; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Uptown is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elwha River. While you're here at Black Diamond Reservoir, you could also check out stunning The Lagoon, and you don’t have to go far from Black Diamond Reservoir to spot the water at Black Diamond Reservoir Dam. So much fun stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too delightful to be true.
