If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Bird Lake. Paddling on Trout Lake Creek is so much fun, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Divide Camp Trail. Bird Lake is a quite wet place usually with a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Bird Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range.

| | the warm days of summer at Bird Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Bird Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of White Salmon River in a kayak; going for a hike along the Round The Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Man, | |

is there plenty of amusing stuff to do near Bird Lake. Take a little journey to Crooked Creek while you're here at Bird Lake, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Hood River Inn is a pleasant choice.
Cold Springs Campground
is a delightful campground nearby, and Snowplow Mountain can be observed from Bird Lake. This lake is so wonderful. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. Places like Bird Creek Meadows
are great to check out; do put some time aside to spend at Crooked Creek Falls since you're here at Bird Lake.
Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Bird Lake is a nice site to visit for more than
one day, Island Campground is a nice site to camp nearby, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Highline Trail.
