Don’t forget to check out Bird Creek Meadows while you're here at Bird Lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Divide Camp Trail. Bird Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. A great vista of gorgeous Snowplow Mountain is available from Bird Lake, and it's a great idea to stop at Crooked Creek. But wait, there's more amusing       stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Bluff Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Crooked Creek Falls is a wonderful site to pop by while you're at Bird Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Springs Campground is a splendid spot to camp, and going for a hike along the Highline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Hiking along the Round The Mountain                  Trail is magnificent fun, and there's whitewater on Trout Lake Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Bird Lake. Island Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Hood River Inn. A large amount of rainfall falls at Bird Lake; December is when you get the most snow here; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of White Salmon River right next door to Bird Lake, and a lake nearby is Mirror Lake. Through the warmest time of the year at Bird Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 40's.
