Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Twisp River, and don't leave Big Twin Lake without first going for a hike along the South Fork Trail. Head up to Echo Valley and strap some skis to your feet,       and Big Twin Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Pine-near Trailer Park is a brilliant local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Big Twin Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Big Twin Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is                  on the slopes of nearby Loup Loup Ski Bowl; a golf course close by is Bear Creek Golf Course. Not much rain falls here at Big Twin Lake; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could explore; the scenery at Moccasin Lake Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Big Twin Lake Campground is a great location to do that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Chewuch River. And if that's not enough there's heaps more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range.
