What a nice lake Big Lake is. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Big Lake. A fine location for whitewater paddling near Big Lake is Yakima River, and after a long day outdoors Mandarin Oriental Washington is a good place to spend a night or two. Musser Creek is a tremendous local stream. Through the summertime at Big Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs

| | throughout the winter are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Big Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the County Line Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Ellensburg here. Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Teanaway River, and Mineral Springs Resort is a nice campground | |

here. This lake is so wonderful. Lookout Mountain is a peak you can see from Big Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Dickey Creek Campground is a good place to camp. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Cabin Lake is one
of those nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Lake; Fishhook Flats Trail is a great local trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Big Lake is pretty dried up regularly; the month of December
is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is July. You completely must adore the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Big Lake without first going for a hike along the Miller Peak Trail, and a pleasant
tour to Bristol Flat is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. Dry warm beds await you at Cle Elum Travelers Inn, and you could always discover Horseshoe Canyon.
