The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many       fun things to do in the Olympic Mountains, not enough time. There's so much to do here at Big Joes Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Angler's Hideaway is a splendid spot for that, and going for a hike on the South Sand Point Trail is always a splendid adventure. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Wentworth Lake near Big Joes Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Kalaloch Lodge. A lot of rainfall falls at Big Joes Lake; December is the month                  that gets the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Big Joes Lake usually tend to be in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Big Joes Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Olympic Mountains.
