If you are in King county it's always a good idea to stop by Bertha Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Alpine Baldy is clearly visible from Bertha Lake; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Stephens Pass. If you need a spot to stay Suncadia Resort is a fine choice; Tye River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Through the summer at Bertha Lake highs are mostly in the 70's while

| | nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bertha Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Bertha Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Tye Canyon Campground is a fine local campground. outdoors exciting stuff. Lakes are great; Lake Sawyer is a lake that's close to Bertha Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Creek Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting
drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rapid River; delightful hiking is available along the Escondido Trail. A pleasant journey to Mount Fernow Potholes is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon, and Alpental has delightful
slopes and a friendly staff. So much amusing stuff close to Bertha Lake, definitely fantastic. There's so much to do here at Bertha Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Deception Creek Campground is a great place for that,
and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bertha Lake; Lake Michael Trail is a nice local trail. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
