This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. For the period of the warm months at Benson Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's,       and nighttime lows through the winter for Benson Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Benson Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail; Courner Dam is a pretty site, unquestionably worth stopping at. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Hamma Hamma River, and dry warm beds await you at Phoenix Inn Suites Olympia. Benson Lake is a wet site that gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December; July is when it's the driest. People from Shelton love to come to Benson Lake. There's so much to do here at Benson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spencer Lake RV Park is a glorious spot for that. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Benson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jarrell's Cove Marina. And that's not all the things to do here in the Olympic Mountains.
