Around Bennett Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month is July. After a long day outdoors Inn at Soap Lake is a magnificent site to spend a night or two; a pretty lake like Grimes Lake is a pleasant site to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Royal View Motel, and camping at Bennett Lake is great fun, Jack's Resort is a great local campground.       A trip to Long Canyon is always fun, and Bennett Lake is a tremendous place to camp, Blue Lake Resort is a tremendous place. All through the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Bennett Lake with night lows in the 50's.
