High temperatures at Bengston Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Bengston Lake tend to be in the 30's. Man, is there lots of fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend       Tolt River - South Fork; close by you hit upon the Mount Defiance Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Bengston Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Bronson Assoc Nudist Park is a great local campground, and if you need a location to stay Steven's Pass Motel is a great choice. There are some great whitewater spots on Tolt River - North Fork, and Dutch Cup Motel is a splendid spot to get some rest. A glorious                  place to camp here at Bengston Lake is Gold Bar Nature Trails Sls Ofc. Bengston Lake is a wet place that gets much precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
