Benchmark Lake is a nice lake to visit. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There are other places here than Benchmark Lake, for example Art Lake, and going for a hike along the Cramer Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby White Pass, and get yourself into a kayak and hit American River. Summertime brings

| | highs in the 60's to Benchmark Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Benchmark Lake.

this area sees the most snow while July is regularly the driest month. You clearly have to like the Northern Cascade Range. One of the overriding characteristics of the surroundings of Benchmark Lake is Cramer Mountain; if you come
at the right time of year, Cowlitz River - Clear Fork offers some great whitewater.
The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. If you need a site to stay Crystal Mountain Hotels is a nice choice, and the Jug Lake
Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at White Pass Campground, and close by you locate Cowlitz Pass which is a glorious spot to pop by. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to
do in the neighborhood of Benchmark Lake. The snow is good at Crystal Mountain, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Twin Sisters Trail.
