Beautiful Bench Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Divide Camp Trail. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on White Salmon River; if you need a site to stay Best Western Hood River Inn is a splendid choice. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too splendid to be true. Little Mount Adams is a peak you can distinguish from Bench Lake, and going for a hike on the Highline Trail is always

A great deal of precipitation falls at Bench Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Heart Lake, and Avalanche Valley is a great place to spend some time. This lake is so wonderful. at Island Spring if you're here at Bench Lake. There's so much to do here at Bench Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bird Creek Campground is a good location for that.
All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade
Range if you go for the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Trout Lake Creek, and hey, Rusk Creek is a good local stream. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. At Bench Lake all through the
summer months highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Bench Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
There is a splendid
hiking trail near Bench Lake called the Round The Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bench Lake has to offer, you can camp at Island Campground.
