This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Brown Creek Campground is always a nice experience. The top of Mount Duckabush is easily distinguished from Lake Ben, and Lake Ben is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Staircase Campground is a tremendous local campground. High temperatures at Lake Ben during the warmest       time of the year are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's while Lake Ben nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Lake Ben is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. If you're here, you might as well stop by O'Neil Pass; perfect hiking is available along the Skyline Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A stunning lake like Lake LaCrosse in the vicinity of                  Lake Ben is a glorious site to go to; going for a hike on the Elwha River Trail is always a splendid adventure. Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a tremendous time. Really fine skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge, and a trip to Olympic National Park is worthwhile. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Lakes are such calm sites, why not have a look at Hart Lake close to Lake Ben; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Skokomish River - North Fork. Just can't get enough of Lake Ben.
