This lake is so wonderful.   Lake Beecher is surrounded on 3 sides by a wildlife reserve and a wooded flood plain. Several families of Beavers and Otters make their homes along the sides of the lake. Evidence of large fresh water muscles are often found on the aging docks of the 1920s & 1930s cottages that are along the lake.
