If time allows, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth visiting, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend
Summit Creek. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Lake is not the only place close by, Coyote Lake is a close by lake; why not camp at Summit Creek Campground since you're here at Beaver Lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Beargrass Butte is scenic and can be spotted from Beaver Lake, and going for a hike along the Clear Lost Trail will let you

absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. A pleasant place to camp here at Beaver Lake is Palisades Campground, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Three Peaks Trail. Beaver Lake is a reasonably wet place regularly with much precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. What would winter be without some skiing at Crystal Mountain, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cowlitz River - Clear Fork.
So many fun things in the Northern Cascade Range, just remarkable. Gotta ski! White Pass is a good location to do that, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Coyote Trail.
