Lakes are great; Lizard Lake is a lake that's near Beaver Lake; Cold Creek is near Beaver Lake and is always a pleasure to have a look at. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Olympic Mountains. There's so much to do here at Beaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Campground is a good place for that, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Soleduck River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Beaver Lake. The high level of rainfall makes Beaver Lake a pretty wet spot; most of the rain falls all through November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more cool things to do in the Olympic Mountains.
